Pipe Lifting Jacks Overview

Purple Engineering’s Pipe Lifting Jacks made by LJ Welding Automation in Canada make installing pipe in tight spaces easy. It is now possible to inspect pipes and replace supports with ease.

Pipe lifting jacks are easy to use, save time, and do not require a hoisting device. Pipe lifting jacks resist corrosion and have a long life expectancy.

LJ’s pipe lifting and jacks imported and distributed by Purple Engineering meet or exceed North American engineering standards. The pipe lifting jacks can be operated independently and don’t require any power source.

680 kg Capacity Pipe Lifting Jacks Rigging Jacks

PipeStand jacks for lifting pipe are an economical way to install pipe in tight spaces. They can be operated by themselves and don’t require any power source.

Our rigging jack BCP JS15-100 allows inspection of pipes and refurbishment and replacement of supports to be done quickly and inexpensively. PipeStand pipe lifting jacks can be set up and used without needing a hoisting device. They are also corrosion resistant and have a long, illustrious life expectancy.

The BCP JS15-100 is used to lift and lower pipe from pipe racks during installation or removal. This helps eliminate the need for heavy slings or jacks, or chain hoists to lift pipe off of rollers. LJ’s rigging Jack BCP JS15-100 has a 1,500 lb (680kg) loading capacity pipe diameter ranging between 0 and 12″ OD and a height range of 12” to 24″, and an adjustable screwback.

2-TON PIPE LIFT JACKS (PIPE RIGGING JACKS): BCP JS40–100

PipeStand jacks for lifting pipe are an economical way to install pipe in tight spaces. They can be operated by themselves and don’t require any power source.

LJ’s pipe lifting tools, Distributed by Purple Engineering in Australia, such as BCP JS40–100, are easy to use and do not require a hoisting device. They are corrosion-resistant and have an impressive, long life. Our rigging Jack BCPJS40–100 allows inspection of pipes and refurbishment and replacement of supports to be done in an easy and inexpensive.

LJ’s rigging Jack BCP JS40–100 has a pipe size ranging from 0-18″ OD, a loading capacity of 2 tons, and a height range between 12″ and 24″. It also features an adjustable screw jack. The BCP JS40–100 can raise or lower pipe from pipe racks during installation or removal.

Different Types of Pipe Lifters

Pipe handling is now easier than ever. Pipe lifters can reduce the time it takes to handle pipes and increase productivity. A pipe lifter can position, lift and push pipe sections together in one motion. Pipe lifters and their attachments have a significant impact on overall pipeline productivity.

Types of Pipes Lifting Jacks

There are many pipe lifters, including spade, toggle, spade, pipe grab, pipe hooks, and pipe clamps. Pipe tongs can also be used, and these are the most commonly used devices in the pipeline industry.

  • Concrete pipe levelers enable the user to position and place concrete pipes in one operation. The pipe is automatically balanced by the cylinder that comes with them. Pipe hooks are compatible with all types of pipes, including RCP, steel, and PVC.
  • Pipe lifting tools are made with steel curved gripping arms. They use a comprehensive scissor-grip action for securing concrete, iron, and PVC pipes. Place the tongs on the pipe, and the legs hold tightly. Thong-style pipe lifters are only suitable for vertical Lifting and not for suspension.
  • Pipe lifting clamps Grab-style pipe lifters can only be used for cast iron and steel pipes. A three-legged lifting system can be used for the safe and non-marring transportation of pipes.
  • Pipe lifters automatically clamp, grab, lift and move pipes without assistance. The scissor grab works well for handling round materials like steel bars, tubes, and pipes.
  • Multiple pipe lifters can lift six pipes and move concrete pipe up three times faster than a standard fork truck.
  • Teacup pipe carriers can be used to transport large precast concrete pipes. Tea Cup Pipe Lifters are a low-profile design only used when the wire rope is inserted into the pipe.
  • The most common method of moving, placing, and relocating pipe lengths is using vacuum pipe lifters. This application requires one or more vacuum tanks and suction pads. A vacuum is created between the suction pad (or pipe) and the valve by opening the valve. This application requires that the surface of the material be smooth and stable.

Safe working load limits are essential for lifting larger diameter pipes when using pipe lifters. Operators of excavators must be able to access a load chart, as well as information about the equipment’s capacity and the weight of the load.

All Lifting will discuss your lifting needs and recommend the right type of pipe handling equipment. Get in touch with us for more information about pipe lifters.

Pipe Roller Hangers

This pipe suspender can be used in horizontal movements due to expansion or contraction. Vertical adjustment may also be required. Pipe roller Hangers allow for more effortless vertical adjustment. Pipe Roller Hangers can be customized to cast iron pipe roller with Carbon Steel Frame, Axle, and Hex Nuts Type 304 and 316 Stainless Steel available upon request. Plain or Electro-galvanized finish can be requested.

The size of the pipe roller for bare pipes. Refer to the pipe roller selection guide for proper insulation sizing. This guide is intended for line covering protection saddles.
