Our Tank Fit-Up Rolls are used for fitting range or length and diameter tanks or thin-walled vessels. They are also used to fit-up and pin shell courses together to provide a rigid diameter vessel.
Pipe Stand’s Tank Fit-up turning rolls provide an easy and cost-effective way to fit up long diameter vessels with numerous sections. When the fit-up of sections is applied properly, mechanized welding becomes easier to apply for maximum speed. Our fit-up beds, including ALG-412, carry a modular design that allows operators to add sections for longer tanks. Fit-Up tank rotators also support the entire length of the tank or vessel, maintaining the cylindrical shape of the workpiece. Our tank fit-up rolls provide fast and safe alignment, improve rolling and positioning, and essentially reduce the crane dependency. Our Fit-up rotators allow support along the entire length of concentric tanks or vessels, for applications where regular turning rolls are not adequate and extra vessel support is required.
