The 12P-800 is a versatile thru-bore portable weld positioner. It’s built to enhance productivity in lighter duty fabrication tasks in your welding shop. With a 660.4 mm x 660.4 mm x 660.4 mm / 26”x26”x26” footprint, its compact design can support up to 453.6 kg / 1,000 lbs. of load capacity. This portable weld positioner includes an 3” hollow thru-bore.
The 338.9 Nm / 3,000 lbs. turning torque gives this welding positioner a consistent and flawless rotation power. It can rotate workpieces at a consistent speed ranging between 0.45 and 4.5 rotations per minute (RPM). This allows users to achieve highly controlled and consistent welds. It features a 304.8 mm / 12” outer diameter (OD) turntable that is compatible with a 304.8 mm / 12” chuck or a welding gripper.
The thru-bore positioner’s range of operation is also versatile. It offers a hand crank self-locking worm gear with tilt feature. This has a c/w angle gauge ranging between 5° and 100°. The equipment has been built with consideration of the end user’s safety, comfort and convenience in mind.
12P-800 offers two options of ground capacity. Operators can choose the 200Amps or the 400Amps ground capacity. The equipment’s mass is 86 kg / 190 lbs. with is its chuck weighing 49.9 kg / 110 lbs (136 kg / 300 lbs total).
This thru-bore positioner runs on a standard power input of 110V, 1-ph but can be customized upon request.
The 12P-800 has a fully enclosed worm gear rotation drive, dynamic brakes that will bring table rotation to a quick stop and offers clockwise and counter-clockwise table rotations. It is considered to be the most robust, high quality designed portable welding positioner for its price and in its class.

Popular options available include height adjustable scissor lift cart. This allows operators to obtain suitable working height. The roller cart has ergonomic design offering user’s comfort while working. Additionally, onboard roller supports can be used. Tripods, welding pipe stands and pipe roller stands are also frequently purchased with this portable pipe turning positioner.
Controls
Foot switch with forward / reverse functionality, and upgraded foot switch that includes speed control are available. Hand pendant options are also available with forward reverse function, as well as digital readout and wireless hand pendant upgrade.
